Looking for a room - hopefully long term, but at least a year. Would love to find folks with similar interests. I am a heavily tattooed, old school punk, well travelled, very responsible and new to the area. I currently live with my good friend, in Downtown Ashland, but I have to move because there is mold in the walls of my space and I am very allergic - bummer. I am hoping to stay in Oregon - Portland, Bend, Salem are all options where I already know some folks, as well as staying right here. I am open to moving back to California, but not the Bay Area (already been there & done that, looking for something new). I am a behavior and nutrition consultant for animals, mostly dogs. I love what I do and I am good at. Willing to trade my services for something if that is an option. I am really easy to get along with, neat & tidy but not a clean freak and am accustomed to communal living (can you say Bay Area - no other options there!). If you have something available or coming available - please hit me up and we can see if it's an option. Can pay up to $300 a month plus basic utilities. Cheers! I know everyone says that, but in this case it is beyond true. I have a 14.5 year old, medium (45#) Golden Retriever mix that is a retired Service Dog (the real certified kind, not the ones people are buying off the internet) - she is so calm that you barely notice her - her name is Nellie. I have a 4 year old small (25#) mixed breed that is my current Service Dog. He is also very calm and well mannered - his name is Bayou. Both dogs usually go with me wherever I go so they are not left for anyone else to be responsible for. Last but not least, I have a 3 year old, shorthair cat - he totally thinks he is a dog. He does not scratch, uses a litter box or goes outside (usually), is social but not a pest, gets along with every animal he has ever met - his name is Corndog (I found him in a cornfield and he thinks he is a dog). He is quite the cat :) All 3 are spayed/neutered, both dogs are Canine Good Citizens and I have references going back many, many years. I am a very responsible pet owner and I swear you won't even notice they are there! Need a fenced yard, but it doesn't have to be big as they don't spend a lot of time there.
