if you need something out of the ordinary -and you're in Haifa- you shouldn't miss Hottentot. Haifa's activists, musicians, artists, etc. hang out here, along with those with any discrimination! the food's good and the owner is a riot. Dorit lives above the cafe and you'll love both her and her pets whom you'll find wandering about. huge backyard outdoor area and bizarre mismatched antiques, tables constructed out of antique sewing machines and truly interesting art make this a place you shouldn't miss, even if going to Haifa for only one day. - Spastic , posted 03/13/05 |
